Hogan Preparatory Academy announces three new principals for 2019-20

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce exciting new leadership at each of our three campuses. After a thorough search for the best leaders, the Board recently approved three new principals for our three schools. These dynamic leaders are energized and ready to transform Hogan into an academically rigorous education setting that supports our students and their needs and ensures our graduates are ready to succeed in education and in life. An opportunity to meet each of our new principals will be coming soon and we sincerely hope you can take time out of your busy schedules to come and meet your student’s new leader.

Please join all of us in welcoming our three new principal leaders!

Mr. Eddie Wright, Principal, Hogan Preparatory Academy High School

Mr. Eddie Wright has served in the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools (KCKPS) for 15 years. He began as a math instructor and moved into an administrative role where he worked to raise student achievement, implement various initiatives, and help lead several committees and projects at the building level. For the past three years he has worked out of the KCKPS central office helping coach all five high school leadership teams. He is excited to be a Ram and will be focused on raising student achievement and postsecondary success for all of our students.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to work under Mr. Eddie Wright as his commitment and passion, as well as his innovative ideas, will propel the high school to the future.  Please trust and believe there are great things on the horizon for our district and we all should be excited to join in this great journey.”
