Encouraging Exploration

Extracurricular activities help children gain new skills, learn to socialize, gain leadership ability and learn more about their own interests.  

Elementary students gain the benefit of exploration and socialization through activities. Hogan Elementary believes that activities can keep students have purpose and builds positive self-esteem. Engaging in activities also teaches important skills such as leadership, time management, discipline, teamwork, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.
