The Hogan Journey

Growing has allowed us to develop the system of the Hogan Journey, part of our educational philosophy surrounding personalized learning. The three parts of the Journey - Awareness, Exploration, and Preparedness - coincide with each of our 3 schools and allow us to get to know our students as they grow, helping them discover and apply their passions to their academic, extracurricular, and future endeavors.

HOGAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
AWARENESS

At Hogan Prep, self-determination and self-awareness is a lifelong process that begins in the primary grades. Students develop a strong academic foundation, leadership capacity, and  become aware of the various career paths available to them. Personalization of learning is tailored to each student when we work with them to develop their Individual Plan of Study.   

HOGAN MIDDLE SCHOOL
EXPLORATION

With the support of their advisor, students will further build upon their personalized plan of study to achieve their learning goals and explore career opportunities. Students will continue a process of building self-awareness, learning about potential careers, and developing a plan for reaching future goals. 

HOGAN HIGH SCHOOL
PREPAREDNESS

At the high school level, students refine the personalized plan of study that will unlock their greatest potential. This educational experience exposes students to ambitious instruction and multiple career and college pathways such as Health & Human Services, Business, Finance & Marketing, Architecture & Construction, and Engineering. Students also have the opportunity to earn a micro credential in a leadership program.
